Surface Preparation:
All surfaces to which MULTI-STAIN are to be applied must be clean, free of grease, oil, dirt, laitenance, curing compounds, other foreign material which may prevent bonding, and must be completely dry prior to MULTI-STAIN application. Concrete surfaces should be etched with acid to open pours to achieve proper effect of stain. When using over Multicoat’s Krete Kote or Top Coat, make sure materials are completely cured (mm. 24 hours).
Do not acid wash.

Application:
Thoroughly mix prior to use. Apply MULTI-STAN in one coat. Can be applied with spray bottle, airless sprayer or roller. For best performance, apply MULTI-STAN with a pump sprayer. Apply stain generously to substrate to achieve desired color. Let dry to touch and then apply Multicoat’ S ACRATHANE CLEAR GLOSS to entire area stained.. Do not dilute stain, use full strength.

Coverage:
One coat as described above will cover approximately 200 to 300 square feet per gallon, depending upon surface texture and/or porosity. Coverage should not be less than 200 sq. f’t per gallon (too thick may cause peeling)

Packaging & Storage:
Furnished in one (1) gallon cans. Store at 40° to 90°F. Keep lid tightly on can or pail when not in use. Shell life approximately 9 months.

Limitations:
Do not apply if surface temperature is less than 50° F. , over 100° F, or if ambient air temperature is less than 50°
F and falling or over 100° F and rising, or if percipation is expected with in a 24 hour period. Do not apply over
sealed concrete or other sealed substrates.
