*OPTIONAL - Apply Vapor Shield to the substrate to reduce the green window of concrete, prevent efflorescence, and/or resist hydrostatic pressure coming through the substrate. Apply with a pump sprayer in conjunction with water, back to back. Repeat for a total of 2 coats. Dry for 24 hours

Apply Micro-Topping with a Magic Trowel or standard trowel. The material should be "tight" and not floated to achieve thickness over the size of the sand in the mix.

With a sprayer, saturate the surface of the cured Micro-Topping with 1 or more colors of stain. Allow it to sit longer for deeper color, and broom around to achieve different saturation points.
