Multi-Air Blanket (Air and Vapor Barrier)

MULTI-AIR BLANKET is a seamless, fully adhering air and vapor barrier membrane. It is water based and environmentally friendly and can be applied to damp or dry surfaces without the use of primers. The MULTI-AIR BLANKET offers a number of performance advantages over polymeric weather resistive barriers and traditional asphalt-impregnated felt or paper barriers. The BLANKET as a fluid applied air and vapor barrier provides an effective and economical means of protecting the structure long-term. The BLANKET is used in all types of wall construction including over gypsum and cement-based sheathings, OSB, plywood, CMU, and prepared concrete. Research shows that air leakage is a common source of condensation, moisture accumulation, and energy loss in exterior walls. Water vapor transfer through walls will cause mold, mildew and odors. MULTI-AIR BLANKET will reduce the damaging effects of condensation, moisture accumulation, energy loss and the related risk of mold, mildew and odors.
